Whatever your interests or background, you will enjoy a warm welcome at the Evergreen Club. Operating out of the Florence Filberg Centre, which is owned by the City of Courtenay, the Evergreen Club has close to 2000 members, aged 55 years and over. The Evergreen Clubs offers over 40 different activity groups, special events, trips and a dining lounge. The Evergreen Club is a program of the Courtenay Recreational Association (CRA) which is our parent nonprofit organization. Drop by anytime to learn more about the Evergreen Club.


Who Can Join the Evergreen Club?

If you are 55 years or older, for a nominal annual fee you are eligible to become a member. Come enjoy the facilities and atmosphere of this special place.

Annual Membership: January 1 – December 31
Membership dues: $27 + GST

Your yearly membership includes a monthly newsletter, available on the last Tuesday of each month. It contains information on clubs, trips, special events, and other activities for the coming months as well as City of Courtenay recreation programs. You membership gives a discount on some City of Courtenay 55+ recreation classes.

When you become a member of the Evergreen Club, you receive full voting privileges. Each activity club elects a representative who attends the monthly Activity Committee meetings. You are also eligible to vote at the Annual General Meeting.


(CRA) Evergreen Executive Committee

The Evergreen Executive Committee is elected annually. The Executive meets monthly guiding the direction of the operations of the club.
